The Silly Season
It's the time of year people rush around getting everyone Christmas presents. I did some of my shopping tonight, thinking that it would be hard to get a parking anywhere. It was a lot quieter than I thought for late night shopping. The walk down Dean St didn't really catch my attention. As usual, Myer sufficed all my needs - so much easier having everything in one place. I used to be quite the Big W and Target man, but I've taken a fancy to the classy department store.
It's my first year at my place with a Christmas tree! The only pain now is packing it away and storing it. I dread the next Christmas when I have to pull it out of spider filled shed covered with cobwebs. I'll probably just buy a new one again next year...
I wonder what the new year will bring for me. A lot has happened in the past year - good times and unhappy times, but that's only natural. This year rekindled my relationship with my faith and I hope to always stay on track with it. Today is all we have - tomorrow hasn't come, yesterday has already gone.

Sounds like you’re now a department store snob
Too exxy for my tastes.. just as bad as Harvey Norman with their inflated RRP eg games, electrical.
I know what you mean with the Christmas tree! I had PC controlled Xmas lights one year… haven’t been back since, ’cause I know what a tangle they’re in!
