Swamped
I have been absolutely tired this week. I have been waking up early in the mornings for work but I love it! I also had a hit of tennis twice this week with Dylan and I played this evening too. So having no sleep has really taken a toll on me as it draws closer to the weekend. Tomorrow, I'm meeting my uncles niece who came to Australia for WYD. It will be nice to meet her and show her around Albury and Beechworth.
I also started uni this week. I have had brief looks at the materials for the two subjects I'm undertaking and already it's proving to be tough to squeeze the time in...and to top it off, I have to compete at the eisteddfod on Tuesday!!! So that means fitting in practice time also. I don't feel that all my pieces are confident enough especially one of them. I won't tell you which one because it already makes me nervous as it is thinking about it. I'll be all happy mid way through next week is over...then I'll have a little less workload.
Another thing. I've been so behind on posts that I forgot to mention I got a new car! Keep in touch for some more backdated posts...
Graduation
Finally I did it. Finally after finishing over 6 months ago the ceremony came. I could go on and on about the experience but we all know pictures are worth a thousand words. I will tell you something though. We had the worst hotel experience ever. First of all there was a bad smell...pretty much a smokers room. We were never informed of this. There was also no toilet roll holder, a really saggy futon bed and a cockroach in the bathroom. Never again will we stay at Sky Accomodation Wollongong. We were prepared to pay for the one night but when we left we had to pay a cancellation fee. Fair enough but the managers were not understanding about our experience. Anyway, enough about the hotel...here's the happy pictures.
Multitalented
This past week, Dylan's dad - Bill had come to stay and visit Albury and the surrounding area. Most importantly, Bill is a tennis fanatic! He is such a steady player and also a handy musician. This afternoon he filled in a Section 1 place with the Thurgoona Cats. Dylan and Bill had a very convincing doubles win. Over the past week I've had the chance to sit down for coffee with them and my family also had lunch at Thai Puka! (Not fair
)
