Easter Canberra

Posted in General on March 25th, 2008

There was pretty much a spontaneous decision in going to Canberra for easter. Even more spontaneous was Dylan and Kristen coming along for the ride. It was good for them to come along because they really wanted to see other parts of Australia and not just be stuck in Albury 24/7 haha. We saw a lot of the sights again and spent some time with the family. Of course Dylan and Andrew couldn’t get away from their beloved sport. Kristen even commented “it’s endless” after Dylan imitated Federer’s trophy position. I thought it was pretty funny.

How to share your files on a windows machine to a mac

Posted in Technology on March 18th, 2008

Since I have a mac at home which Andrew uses, I finally got around to get file sharing to work. All our music is on my external HDD hooked up to our main pc. I found out how to share it over the network and get the mac to access it using this website. Hope it works quickly for those who need this!

Racquet restringing

Posted in Tennis on March 18th, 2008

I thought it would be a good time to let you guys know that my brother and I have started up a business. We offer a tennis racquet restringing service and are legally known as “AJStringers”. Visit the webpage at http://ajstringers.com

Our prices are pretty competitive and are way cheaper than shop counterparts. As far as we know, some sports stores are charging double for the services we can provide you. Our service is professional and we use a range of string depending on your budget and personal playing ability. So if you need to bring some new life to your game, visit the site and get in contact with us.

Requests of a pizza delivery driver

Posted in Peeves on March 15th, 2008

I think it’s about time I said something since lately I’ve been concerned about where I stand in relation to customers.

1. Pizza delivery isn’t instant, it takes time to make, cook and then drive out to your place.
2. When you order during peak times, expect your order to take a little longer. When it arrives, don’t blame the driver.
3. Please leave your front light on to make it easier to find your house, it can get your pizza delivered faster.
4. Don’t let your dogs attack us.
5. It’s physically impossible to hand over money and the pizza at the same time.
6. A little tip never goes to waste, we always show gratitude and professionalism the next time you order.
