New York City
I did say when I found out that I was going to Boulder, that if there was one other place in the US I could go, it would definitely be New York. Well a few days ago Sophie, Vicki and I booked a ticket to NYC!!! Wooooo. We are staying for 6 days right smack bang in Manhattan and only a few minutes away from the Empire State Building. There are so many things to do in New York but I'm just there for the ride. The girls suggested we go see a show on Broadway, which is a viable option but I'd prefer to also walk around, enjoy the sights and do some city shopping. I want to eat at a hot dog stand, ice cream stand and buy newspapers from someone selling them on the busy city streets. To top off my good mood, I found out today that I'm going to be working as an "Earn and Learn" apprentice - systems administrator at CU. I'm so glad that I'm doing it because I'll get some real hands on experience in the field. Now back to my coffee...
