John’s birthday lunch
John's birthday lunch was celebrated at Lake Hume Resort. The food was OK but the serving sizes were so small I downed it in like 3 spoonfuls. On the way back from the resort, the intersection at the corner of Olive and Smollet St gave way to an accident. Here is a pics from the birthday and a few of the accident LOL.

The easy way to make money
So this evening I went and watched Nick DJ for vinyl idol at the Globe. It was nice to see his parents there and have a chat since I haven't spoken to them since the end of year 12. It was unfortunate that I was driving so I couldn't drink. Kel and his GF, Visser, Sli, Nick's GF and Kyle were there and we headed to the pokie area for a chance to lose our money...er I mean win money. Visser loves pokies and after a few rounds he decided to call it quits. He shoved his last $10 into Super Bucks and man...free spins...twice! I quote "A first year apprentice's wage in one spin". A few pics to prove this event (LOL):

There's nothing like easy money but there's also a way to make money just by talking about your life just like me. There's this thing called blog advertising through a site called PPP (PayPerPost). All you have to do is register your blog with their site. Your site must be cached by google to get a better chance of getting approved. You can check if any site is cached by google by searching the query string cache:http://
I never thought doing something I enjoy by posting stuff about my life could actually generate some renvue to keep my site up and get some traffic. The only reason I heard about PayPerPost was through the Australian Whirlpool Broadband Forums. The users in that thread were so sick of using google ads that are so saturated on almost every site we visit today - even the google site itself! This is why I love using PayPerPost so much - they don't intrude your site as much as google ads do, they provide the freedom of what you do with your posts while assisting advertisers at the same time...with a much more personal style.
Anyway, 7 days and I leave for Sydney then Boulder, CO!!! Ciao.
Crazy Albury Lady
I'm pretty sure I've put this up already but I found it and it just cracked me up again. The photo was taken around February 2005 at Albury Train Station.

What is she doing with her baby?
Mortgages
It always makes me wonder how people can afford their own homes. The amount of time it takes to pay of say a $300,000 loan would be insane on an average person's wage. I heard that some loan terms are like 25 years which is quite a decent amount of time if you ask me. I'd be worrying about if I was still alive and well at the point in time. Only yesterday, Australian interest rates have risen up again making people with mortgages fork out about another $30 a month if I can remember correctly. Maybe this is a time to move out of the country to the US and take out a mortgage there. As I'm going to Colorado I was looking around at the interest rates in comparison to Australia. The rates are slightly lower according to Colorado Mortgages. The one thing I liked about the site is that you could receive 4 individual quotes from the top mortgage brokers in the state. So if you are coming to visit me in Boulder and find that it is a very nice place and you are looking to buy, check out the mortgage companies around.
Why do I blog?
One of the reasons I started a blog was to track my movements of my life throughout the course of my uni life. It used to just be about venting my views about my boring yet surprisingly interesting world but now it has turned into something much deeper. I know that I will continue to enjoy writing more posts since I will be going to America and it just leaves one central point for all of my friends and family to see and read about what I have been up to. With the help of Bloggerwave I can also generate revenue that will help keep my hosting costs to a minimum. So guys if you already have a blog, I suggest that you join Bloggerwave so that you can generate revenue to help assist with the cost of maintaining your site - whether it be time or money! Catch you guys next post!
Where have I been?
Someone that can tell me from this map where I started and where I finished my trip wins!
