Mile High City
Hi everyone. I'm currently staying at Julie's parents place in a suburb called Arvada. It's a very nice area between Denver and Boulder. Julie's parents are great! They are such a lovely couple of people. They even treated me to a fulfilling Mexican meal. Well today I kinda got to walk around my uni. I got my student card, attended a student exchange meeting, got some lunch + coffee with Julie, bought souvenir t-shirts and finally had a quick campus tour. Boulder is such a nice place...well in fact I really like the states just by being here. Everything is so spaced out and there seems to be endless stretches of road.
Boulder and the surrounding area is very high, about a mile above sea level so the air is pretty thin. It's taking some time to adjust, I feel out-of-breath quite a lot and I need to drink lots of water. Anyway I have such a long day tomorrow so I will leave you with a few pictures but be sure to check out the whole album. I'll be adding many more photos as you may imagine! Night (for me anyway
)
