B*itching
Hello hello. I'm sitting in front of the TV watching JonBennet. It's such a random movie. Anyway let me start of with my usual b*tching about uni as always. This is just about reaching the time when I go through my mid life uni crisis yet again. For this project subject that I'm doing absolutely no one puts effort in!!! Argh I have to do everything, today I was meant to start my essay but instead I was finishing off a deliverable. Actually it's not that bad, they do something but its not always of a high standard, I just see copy+paste over and over and over and over. And to add the the crap, we got a seminar presentation, though I'm choosing not to present this time.
Anyway off that now (hehehe). Over the last few weeks, Zeynep, Jeff and I have been singing so much that our voice-boxes have gone into hibernation. Last night, I swear Jeff and I must have been singing for at least 3 hours straight. It was good though, you feel good after singing, as his mum said - "It's very cleansing". You see a different side of a person when they sing and it makes you feel sort of accepted and that they are comfortable around you, it's a good feeling I can tell you that. Zeynep's car was being a b*tch last night as well, luckily she got it home. Hope nothing too major is wrong with it.
Tomorrow is going to be jam packed day for me mainly because I have 3 major things to get done. They are things because they aren't tasks (hehehe). I have to go to church tomorrow morning and probably ask the priest if I can play organ. Then have lunch and go home and start on my essay. Then by the time I actually start doing something Jeff and Zeynep will come over and we will have so much fun cooking dinner...yay I can't wait.
Tonight I'm leaving you with a sample of a High School Musical song me and Zeynep are working on.
Zeynep’s 18th Birthday
Happy 18th Birthday Zeynep!
Yesterday marked the very special occasion of an 18th birthday to a lovely young lady by the name of Zeynep. The fun began at the Fujiyama Restaurant situated on Flinders St, North Wollongong. We were all amazed at the talents of the chef, including his little fancy dances, but to his dissapointment - we weren't as good food-in-the-mouth catchers as he would of thought we were. It was like a 50 course meal, I couldn't even finish the previous meal and he would whip out some other delicacy that I would have to force down. I think I was the only one to score 3/3 for the egg catching, egg eating and rice catching!!! (hehe, shows I like my food).
Anyway here are a few photos too keep you amused, my favourite being Jeff at 5 months through his pregnancy...catch everyone soon.
James

All of us before realising we had almost forgotten to pay!
8 days later
Hello again. A lot has happened in the past 8 days since I last posted. I'll start with a great day I had today. Well it didn't start that great though. I had a seminar presentation this morning at 8:30am, it was so hard to wake up but I did it and the presentation was OK. Good thing I practised in front of Jeff and Zeynep and Jeff benefited from answering most of the questions during the presentation.
Anyway the highlight of my day was going to Macarthur Square and shopping around for shoes....well I didn't buy shoes but Zeynep managed to score 2 pairs! Well now that I know my way around Maccarthur there's a new shopping place for me to go to. It wasn't all that easy though, we got lost several times but we got there in the end. Probably the highlight of that adventure was reaching the holy grail - Krispy Kremes!!!!!!! Finally I had a chance to taste heaven again, it was soooo goood and I got some still left over.
On the way home we passed by Mt Kiera and took some happy snaps. Here's a sneak preview on what's offered in the next few episodes...goodnight.
Something for August
I'm posting tonight because I thought it would be nice to have something under "August". I hope most of you have listened to the recording of "What I've Been Looking For". But I'll leave the link just in case you haven't.
Apparently, a singer, Andrew Seeley, is the singer of Troy Bolton in High School Musical. Ok ok, you guys are probably thinking...who cares, you're obsessed. But it's interesting because I thought Zac Efron was a really good singer. However parts of his voice were mixed into the tracks so it didn't totally sound like a new person. The others were 100% them singing, so Vanessa Hudgens (she's so cute), Ashley Tisdale (heh...not my type) and Lucas Grabeel (let's not even go there) are the real deal.
Anyways so now off the topic of High School Musical for once in my current life. Got quite a few things due in the next few weeks. I've got most things started but as usual I'm always freaking. I'm going to Albury this weekend but I'm a bit cut because I have to be driving myself again, and Jeff decided not to come (dog act). Currently right now, I'm being sidetracked by this damn blog when I'm supposed to be doing some readings but I'm doing THIS and I'm finishing off my databases assignment. Anyway it should be ok going to Albury, going to have to say my goodbye to Andrew Drage as he is moving to Melbourne. I guess I left him first so its his turn to make me feel bad. But I'm sure wherever our paths take us we will meet some time down the track when we least expect it. I hate time...I hate change...it's because I've been doing the same thing for 19 years of my life. EDUCATION, that's the difference between me and the rest of my friends...and the fact that I'm pretty much separated from them.
Anyway to sum up, I'm gonna try not to freak out much more....goodnight!
