25 Hour Days
Well well, hasn't it been a long time since I blogged on and on. I've been really busy with uni as most of you well know. 25 contact hours a week is full on and I slightly considering a subject drop to reduce my workload and for the fact that I am ever so slightly far away from Wollongong uni. At the moment this programming assignment is driving me crazy, I know I can do it though - it's just that the assignment specifications always bug me everytime, they just seem so vague.
On a different story, Pia's parents are down for a holiday which is cool, we are going to have dinner at Star City tomorrow straight after uni. She gets it easy this week with no tuts and labs. Lucky her. I still have this GO-LO application form sitting on my desk because I have no time to walk to Norton Plaza and drop the damn thing in. I finally got my $20 HMV voucher from Xavier House as a thank you present for changing DD details on time - yay. Now what do I buy with it? I hardly ever buy CD's, ever!
Well there is nothing much to talk about. Drage just called me now. Talk to you's later.
CBA ATMS = crap
Uni this week wasn't too bad - only because no tuts or labs ran this week! Got a programming assignment already, it's already creating a lot of problems for me. I just hope I make it through again like I've done in the past
I'm in Pennant Hills for the weekend, went to the Hornsby Westfield to have a look around at the shops. I went to use the Commonwealth Bank ATM up near the pet store so I could withdraw money for my train money next week and the ATM just froze. It stayed at this screen or like 2 minutes! I was like what the hell!? I was thinking about going to tell a shop keeper so they could call down the supervisor of the mall. But luckily the ATM said "You process cannot be executed at this time. Please try again later".
Silly enough, I did try later and it did it again. A bit worried, I went down to a different Commonwealth ATM and it worked fine. The funny thing was when I said to people behind me forming a queue, they still decided to learn the hard way themselves!
Tomorrow I will possibly go to the North Rocks computer market to help Mark and Liza (Tita Marlene's cousins) to get a computer. It's really cool how they have a market every Sunday and its huge, that Westfield is quite a decent size, yet there is still so many other Westfields I am yet to explore!!! Who wants to come with me to another one? Post a comment then! LOL
I'm going to bed soon.
Cyas!
$3.95 Panadol
I woke up with a massive headache this morning. I thought it would go away, but I had to resort to walking to Stanmore Pharmacy to get 24 tablets of Panadol which cost $3.95 what a rip, I could of got it cheaper at Woolies ![]()
No uni today, at least, it wasn't worth going as I only had a 1 hour lecture because no tuts or labs run this week. Not to worry as nothing really happened I heard - nothing is really that constructive in 1 hour lectures.
After I had some lunch Peter and I went to Marrickville to the shopping place there to get some oil. First he needed to get petrol in the car except the fact that the car kept cutting out because there was hardly any left!!! And because the parking at Xavier is on an angle it didn't help either. We eventually siphoned his emergency fuel into his car, enough to get it to the servo.
The Marrickville Metro shops are pretty good, here in Sydney I only ever go to the city so I never really enter plazas or shopping centres apart from the Hornsby Westfield. I've only got one lecture tomorrow but I will go because it's the first one and theres some good introductory information to listen to. I'm still waiting on my holiday discount from Xavier so I can get my textbooks, I hope it comes soon.
Anyway on a different note, I came across some really intelligent thinking about google. See below:

It is soo cool, google knows what's best. I've also got something for the really bored people, something to test your mouse skills. Click the mouse here to experience the game. Leave the times in my comments in the post if you feel like it.
I'll be back tomorrow.
Interesting Day
What an interesting day. I had Internet Technology first up, pretty much as general as you can get from the first lecture, same with the others - stat made me sleep for a while and object programming made me cry. Oh well, there's lots to do and lucky I don't have to go to uni tomorrow as tuts and labs don't run this week. I have to go to sleep now, cyas later.

Single Room
It's just about 9pm and being in a single room means you are isolated from everything. I actually miss being with others in a room now. Oh well I can study heaps
My only contentment at the moment is to read the Border Mail. How do you ask? I clicked this thingy to get it. While I was there I noticed an interesting letter from Mark Moriarty (Anthony Moriarty's dad) regarding the sale of the Pill with local pharmacist, Simon Horsfall, here. I was actually competing against Tom Horsfall in many Eisteddfods in Albury, very handly player he is, pity we don't know each other very well. I'm sure Laura can organise another Piano faceoff in the near future.
Blog off...

Me and Matt have exactly the same timetable, it was only by chance last semester that we became friends - being in exactly the same academic situation which is good! The times are pretty much screwed up especially for CSCI124 (Object Programming) and when I live ~80kms away from the damn university. I'm so glad that MATH141 is finished and the dreaded CSCI103 (Algorithms and Problem Solving)! Hopefully I will do much better than I did last semester.
Now listening to Rhapsody in Blue - George Gershwin...
Pedometer
I'm all alone again!!! NOOOOOOOO. On the brighter side I finally got a single single room. If you know what I mean...at Xavier House we have quarter rooms separated by these stupid partitions which meant you can hear everything else around you but cannot see. I'll be shifting my stuff in the next few days. At the moment I'm trying to get myself back into gear for uni, I motivated myself today by buying some exercise books, which reminds me, I need a pedometer to see if I can do 10000 steps in a day. I think it's do-able. I want to be fit this summer.
